ZL1 Addons Rock Guards

Not sure if any one else was running these as I usually only see Rally armor mud flaps. Recently put on these ZL1 Addons to my WRX, that is a more subtle look I was wanting.

Interesting.

$53 for all four isn't horrible. Half the price of Rokblokz and 27% of what Rally Armours go for.

They seem thin, but if their main job is just to block stone chips on the paint, they should do well.

I don't see them protecting the underside from snow; but if you don't live where it snows, then there is nothing to worry about.

Yeah I put them on mainly to just block stones being thrown on any part of my car from the tires. They have been working excellent for that so far, blocking any muddy water I go through at work too from splashing up. Luckily I don’t live where it snows at all so they are a good add on.

Agreed! I found out about them after my friend put them on his Supra. So decided to try them out and they have been working great

These are interesting I might give them a try. I currently have rally armor which are great for the price but block water and mud.

Bought them once, the holes didn't even line up.
Now I just buy the rectangular Rally Armor sheets and cut my own.

I'm thinking the exact opposite. $53 for that!?!
Also I wouldn't pay $100+ for rally armor mud flaps either just because all the cool kids do it.
Not that I'm really against paying a premium for a product that adds cool points. Its just I cant justify spending that on mudflaps just because it has a brand name logo on it.
Rather spend my money on other mods.

For $20 I bought 4 mudflaps.
theyre shaped identical to rally armor and included hardware. They came in black or red. I got black.
I didnt use the hardware, I drilled holes in the correct spots and used the factory clips already on the body to mount them.
I also trimmed them to give the exact look I wanted.
It didnt take very long and it looks perfect.
