![]() Has anyone had any success sourcing seat covers for a bugeye? The drivers seat is done in my wagon. I was wondering if there was an NOS vendor out there that would sell the factory covers?

![]() Their site doesn't list a 2002 Subaru as an option.
There are other companies that offer leather seat covers, but they don't provide for the side air bag. |

![]() Be aware you may need to look for new seat foam for the drivers seat bottom as well. It will depend on how bad it has broken down you may be able to just add a bit of shaped foam to the bad spots.
Just something else to think about. |

![]() I'm thinking about just replacing the seats in my Subaru Impreza 2009. My daughter wants leather seat covers but I'm a bit leery of how they will fit. Anyone know the best place to go to either get quality covers or buy leather seats. I guess I could also have the seat re-upholstered.

![]() I just checked with a local shop about recovering the seats on my 2002. The estimate was between $700-$950l. It turns out that leather is only $200 or so more expensive than fabric or vinyl. Most of the expense is labor. Also they said the covers would be compatible with the side air bags.
You might want to see if Subaru still sells the seat covers. |

![]() Jdloyd and all other Bugeye people -- if you're looking for an easy fix for your seats -- know that the 2004 STi seat (and ONLY the 2004 seat, not the 2005+ seats) have airbag plugs that plug directly in.
