What is the difference in a 2004 GD7 code Vin and a 2005 -2007 GD7 Vin code car? Is the 2004 STI engine any different than a 2005 -2007 STI engine?

Default one rare wagon...

well I have an Vin: A67L-XXXXXX in my drive way..
A 1978 DL+GL 4wd wagon.I only know of 2 others and neither look near as good as my baby.
I think I might be a candidate for the rarest wagon in the U.S.
If anybody needs a 1975-1979 vin decode I have an Original Factory Parts catalog(about six inches thick).

That is Very Interesting... I'll Love to See it!

Well... Seems like No one Covered the "Non-USA" Models... in Example, in my Country we have the impreza with EJ15 (1.5L) Engine (Sedan) and EJ16 (1.6L) engine (Wagon) on the Very Basic Versions. (Yes, the ones with Manual Crank Windows, etc...) also, we have the "Subaru XV" which is the Name given to the Diesel impreza!

So... I just bought an engine/trans/ecu/harness from a JDM parts importer, and the timing cover has this code on it: EJ205DWKE-019 610757 RC10

They wrote GC8 WRX 99-00 on the intercooler and ecu. How accurate is that? and where would I look for more details about it?

i am planning on buying a 1996 GF4 with a 2000 GF8 engine swap. The guy says that it is a JDM EJ205 but i read somewhere that these come with EJ20G. also, if it is an EJ205, is it the same engine as the USDM EJ205 in the bigeye here but with AVCS?
