i just installed mine last week. you only need to use one (the first) clip. you can cut off the other two. you can take off those three white things...i don't know what they're called and the part that they insert into. so you only really need to make one cut with a blade. i know that these instructions are sort of vague...but it points you in a direction.

no. there are six screws (three for each side) and then there are six clip things (three on both sides) to attach it under. i used just the three clips on one side, then i used just the front one on the other side. not loose at all.

oh, by the way, if you don't want to cut into your car at all, i've heard that you can use some automotive double stick tape.

ok, i put teh left one on today and it was a failure, those clips are hard to get off on the bottom, i destoryed one of them but i made due wiht something i had laying around, what happened was i didnt cut in the right place and when i pressed it in, i saw what was wrong and i tried to pull it off and the plastic clip ripped off....im gunna try some double stick tape for now and im gunna see how that lasts but im pretty sure im gunna install the seco one tomarow and then order another one for the other side and do it right ?

well, i would just use the double stick tape, an epoxy or something like that. are there any places that sell just one? wouldn't it be around $65 if you did?

yahh it would cost like 65 bucks, im gunna try that tape so hopefully it will work, the side spliter is like being pulled so so the front...upper..corner is hanging off just a bit(not noticeable from far away) so i didnt know if the tape would fix that or not.

i don't know if you'll be able to get any tape in there...i don't know how much room there is. you might want to find some sort of glue. apply it and press for a minute to make sure it sticks. make sure the glue you pick is strong - weather resistant. find some automotive glue that is stronger than superglue.
