I hear you. I'm not exactly sure who that is, kinda new to the NASIOC scene. I just figured in the built motor section out of the thousands of eyes that cross through every day a few people are running and have a personal experience with the rods.

They're a vendor here and have lots of great info. They also have a successful race program. *edit* not sure if you were asking who Clint is or tic. Clint is one of the co-founders of tic. They have a Facebook page they update regularly, can email them, or pm their vendor account. Not sure what their preferred means of communication is. -------------------- (I'm in no way associated with them). Also I don't want to come off as fanboyish there is plenty of smart guys lurking here and some great builders (mps, 3mi, element, asf, etc etc etc) Matt |

Understandable, but that car isn't making more then 700whp on a GTX35r. It is probably SUPER light

So while we're on the topic, aside from the Carillo pro H beams ($$$) Pauter X or Crower I? Was looking to save as much weight as possible in the rod dept. coming from turbo tuffs. |

According to the BC rep they should be fine but of course they are going to stand behind their product. I just want some unbiased input from some "real" users on here because I won't be buying rods for another month or so and it helps pass the time to discuss with other enthusiasts. Junior said he didn't have good experiences but not in "the last year". They have changed quite a bit. The Carillo Pro H beams look AWESOME and are light but also over a grand. It's a possibility but for half the cost if BC makes a robust product... |

I bought BC I-beams and I will be running them in my build. I have no complaints, great looking rods, great price, and great customer service from Dustin at BC......BUT my power goal is nowhere near what you stated above ^^^. For god sake buy the best rods you can if you plan to make that kind of power. Whats an extra grand at that point, really.

I've used the BC I beam at 250hp per rod and 11k. No issues what so ever. If you want to buy the very best buy Carrillo, if you want to save about half the money use the BC or Manley I beam.
Thanks Jay Meagher |

Dustin and I have been chatting. He has been very straight up, and apologizing for the old mistakes. His confidence in that I will be happy with them and making things right with me are leading me to try out a set of the rods in my spare race motor this season.
I will be pushing them hard lol |
