I can find a ton of smaller ones but am having a hardtime find 2.5" (roughly 64mm) size that aren't a huge taper. The only two I've been able to find are like 8" long total length and located in the UK or in Aus.

^^I know about them and they're actually not far from me either. Sadly they don't make a large enough ID velocity stack.

Thanks for the velocity stack link, Brent!

The start of my manifold project. A few small adjustments and then off to get machined.

What material is this?
It looks like ceramic on my iPad...
My guess is aluminum?

No I had one rapid prototyped before I had a set machined. I often overlook stuff when all I have to look at is a computer screen. I made a few small adjustments to it as a result of having one in my hands. I grabbed some injectors and some fuel rail stock, machined the injector ports in the rail and took some measurements for that. Since aftermarket rails obviously won't work with this I needed to come up with a solution for it. Set it up for off the shelf 60mm x 14mm injectors. I won't have my car for awhile so I'm not sure when I'll be building a manifold but I believe I have a machine shop setup to machine these in aluminum for me. Hadn't even driven my car yet with the setup I just finished and now in changing stuff around already.

I'd love to be given a project like that at work. 3d milling the runner tract will be a bit time consuming.

I'll be running my manifold flanges soon. Hopefully this month Probably going to go with a slightly smaller runner than my original plan, should pair nicely with the new turbo setup

If you go through all the work to get a printed part why not just get one that is made of GFN or some of the other high temp plastics? There are several materials now that can be rapid protoyped to around 350-400F. Just use some silcone connectors and make it two, three or four pieces if you have to.

Why would i do that? No sense in that, all I wanted was a cheap part to check everything with and that did it. I don't want manifold held by silicone couplers and that's several pieces. More chances for stuff to leak and or blow apart. Besides I like to build and weld stuff and make pretty things and plastic stuff doesn't allow that.
