If I were choosing based on performance without much worry over price, I would get the TE37's because they are 1/2" wider allowing you to effectively run 225/45/17's. They are also light. Based on looks and being budget conscious I think I would go for the Prodrive 7's.

I chose not to take a chance and went the safe route, 53mm Prodrives it is. The TE37s were used, needed to be poweded coated, needed tires. I figure, $300 to strip and recoat, $600 tires, $50 mount and balance, $1200 for the wheels, thats $2150! $1800 got me the OZ at my door no headaches and less money.

Im not farmiliar with the prodrives
1. are they forged? 2. are they light? You made a good choice based on the factors you described...I personally like the TE37, or advan RG, or other light japanese rims. Im trying to track down JDM WRX 22b rims if they fit. good luck with those. EJ20WRX |

The Prodrives are cast but are high quality and strong. I'll be going with them myself, since there will be absolutely no question as to proper fit/offset.
