Default Order form question

I ordered a 2013 WRX STI with STS on 2/23. I remember asking the salesperson if the STS bushings needed to be listed separately as an option (different part number) to which he replied, No. Does this guy know what he's talking about or should I take action?

Take action how? Do you even have the car yet?

No car. Should I go back to the dealership and make a big deal about the above issue? Or will the manufacturer know that the STS requires a specific bushing regardless if that bushing is not listed as a part on the order form.

Sorry for being a noob about this. Guess I'm just a little paranoid.

i still don't understand what your issue is. that something isn't itemized on the bill?

Wow I suck at explaining things. Now everyone knows how my wife feels.

The STS bushings were not listed on the order form, only the STS. Is this a problem or will the manufacturer know that the STS bushings must be installed?

If this doesn't explain my paranoia, I'll delete this thread and extend my apologies to everyone that read this.

Are you buying a $35k car from them?
Do you have every right to call them up to confirm what color everything is going to be, whether the manual comes with the car, if 4 tires are included, etc. etc. etc...

You're buying a new car, man. You could ask them for their first born and you'd probably get it. Just take 30 seconds out of your day, call THEM, and confirm!

You can call and confirm. You can wait until you get the car and see if it's on there, and if they're not you can get mad, or you can buy aftermarket for cheaper and have better with less money out of hand.

Honestly, just wait until the car is there.

Subaru only offers the rear bushing as an option (no fronts), and it should be listed seperately if they are installing it. However, I don't remember if the bushing is only a dealer installed item or if they do it at the port.

Either way, this is not a big deal at all. If you want the bushing, and they forgot to add it and cannot fix the order, then I am sure the dealer will have no problem installing it for you. Or as others said, you can just go aftermarket for less money.
