Believe it or not, I actually got around to installing my gauges this weekend. But I learned in the process that not all A pillar gauge pods are created equal. So now I have said F this and am finding a clock pod.

I'll show up to a meet once everything is said and done with the gauges

Hoorah for clock pod instead of a-pillar. I've never liked/understood a-pillar setups. They block so much of your view and just stick out too much. I only have one in the MSP because I got the thing free and the gauges wouldn't fit under my radio anymore.

So wait. You're not coming to any meets unless your gauges are installed?

DEFI clock pod now ordered! WHOOP WHOOP!!!

I'll be hitting up Suckerpunch on Friday, but if I were to come, you'd see my ghettorific A pillars sticky taped and barely holding on for their lives!

I should have everything fixed and finalized by the Friday after :-D

i actually like the a-pillars for functionality. If they are good ones they dont block any of your view.
I do not, however, like them for aesthetics...I think they are ugly, but functional.

My biggest problem is not being aware the Lo Tec gauge pods don't have an internal structure for snapping onto the A pillar directly. Sorry, but I'm not interested in jimmy-rigging the pods to stay put. Oh well, soon everything will be good

I think the closest is Richmond for 1/4 mile. There is a 1/8 mile at summerduck up 29. Why would you want to go to a drag strip?....:P

Because I want to drive, and I won't be able to hit any HPDE's at Summit or VIR for a while.

I'm pretty sure there's an 1/8th mile drag strip at Eastside Speedway in Waynesboro.

I have to agree with Kyle, Auto-X is the way to go. They talked me into doing my first one back in like October or November and it was some of the most fun I've had in a car. Waaaaaay better than driving fast in a straight line and no cops to worry about while doing it. It's a win-win.
