Default 07 STI valve cover bolts

So I was changing my Shift linkage bushings on a 2007 STi today at a friends shop on lift kit and I randomly was looking underneath the car to see if anything looks unusual or anything out of place since I haven't had the car jacked up in a while.. I noticed the valve cover bolt was loose on the driver side obviously oil was leaking through it and also a bolt was missing on the front of the valve cover or there isnt suppose to be a bolt there.. looks like it should.. What could of caused this? Anyone run into something like this. Weird

**** happens. Things vibrate loose. Have you had the car since new?

Replace, torque to spec and check all others.
