What about things for auto x days, like a tent, or stickers for your car. LIke the magnetic ones. How much does she want to spend? What about x-drilled rotors, ss brake lines, pads. Ummm... video camera for your car do record the auto x from in the car. 4 point seat harness. Detail stuff, a buffer. Ummm... Tools, small compressor, tire chalk. Thats about all I can think of. Hope it helps a little
Steve PS are you coming to the Bristol auto x next year? I hope you are, you were a fun person to race with. See ya later |

The detail stuff and auto-x stuff isnt a bad idea....the only problem is that i dont have a drive way or anything like that making detailing/washing my car a pain in the but right now...but im not ruling it out. I will DEFINATELLY be at those auto-x's next season...to much fun to miss!
I have a video camera, we just have to figure out how to rig it up! //m keep those ideas comming. What about Component speakers for front and rear? |

If you haven't done the trunk light, it's cheap and easy ($40).
For detail stuff Sears usually has their corded buffer on sale for X-mas. In the past it has come with a nice molded case. And don't forget the wax.. My favorite overall is has been Zymol. Something else that a car guy might like is maybe a gift certificate to F1 Boston for a race session or two. - Ken |

IMPREZAmike, a way to rig up your video camera is to use the passenger's seat headrest. I am not sure if the head rest comes out, but if it does, you can take a nice piece of aluminum, put holes in it for the head rest bars (that go into the seat), and mount the camera at the other end of the aluminum. You will probably have to tie down the camera to make it not wobble so much. I will look for the webpage that shows how to do it (on an Integra...)
Boom had some good ideas. If you want to race alot, you could use chairs, a small air compressor, magnetic decals and the like. Is the EVO for sale Silver? If it is, the guy runs it at the Bristol, CT auto-x. Its right-hand drive, too. |

I think there are some really nice sweaters on the market these days. Don't underestimate how much enjoyment can be had by wearing a stylish yet comfortable new sweater.
Or, since you have a hard time detailing your car yourself (I know the feeling - the house I'm renting now doesn't even have an outside faucet!!), maybe she could get you a gift certificate or two for a free complete detailing. Pat Olsen '99 Legacy (RIP) |
