Didn't know you were a SLC'er - I do day trips to ski - it's actually easier than Tahoe from the SFBay area. Love the food you guys have too - would never think of SLC as a food mecca, but I'd take it over SF any day. My buddy fell in love with a waitress at The Copper Onion
Just moved back to SLC. I was in San Diego and San Diego food > Salt Lake. Slc isnt bad but not amazing. Also, i'm at that point where I do not want to wrench on cars, especially an expensive one.

Love those 1600 mile round trip "day ski trips" . I mean, I know you have fast cars...but that's like 9+ hours each way hauling ass.

Flying makes sense. He's near the airport.

^^Yep, SLC is a 1.5hr flight and then 30 mins to slopes vs 3-10+ hrs driving to Tahoe. Flying to Tahoe is only 45 mins, but flights often late / canceled and then further to slopes. Haven't tried the day trip to Mammoth but might also make sense.
