Its 3M 1080 scotchprint carbon fiber, I took all the pieces off, wrapped them around the back side (anchoring it in sorts) so I don't have to worry about edges peeling or being picked at by those pesky passengers!

BTW the 1080 with a heat gun is a dream to work with, you can pretty much cover any shape you want with no issues

It's from Bayson R Motorsports. Bought it from them on eBay for 189.99 + Shipping. It's plastic but coated in carbon fiber and you'd never really be able to tell unless you gave it a good knock and hear how the thing sounds. Friends have actually asked me if it costs over $1000!

It should be an easy fit for you since you have a DGM, but for me, it looked pretty out of place when I first got it since everything else was bone stock. Looks better now though and probably will look even better when I get the WRX rear bumper on it.

aleksl, solid looking impreza, those wheels look great with the car, all you need is LOW LOW LOW and it'll look hot!

Got my subaru back from shop today, I'm so happy to have it back, I had to drive my sisters Mercedes for past 2 days, I can't believe what a nightmare an automatic is and how boring it is, plus it handled like a pig.

Turns out my strut mount bearings are dried out, so when I turn the wheel when my car isn't moving it makes a click sound, i thought it was my axle so I sent it in to get repaired, I'm glad it wasn't. I won't replace them since I'm going full coil overs over winter or latest of spring 2012, will take some new pics of car tomorrow .

ONE MORE UPDATE!
Rota wheels again, so I e-mailed the company I bought the wheels off from eBay and attached these pictures

The day they came in, my dad opened the first box and this wheel was inside, pretty big and deep scuff, otherwise the other wheels were good. I'm not one to complain about small stuff but this wasn't exactly small, so after like 4 days I get a call from the company to confirm my address because Rota saw the pictures and is sending a brand new Rota wheel for free, I get to also keep the damaged one.

So yeah, free like $150, I'm excited lol.

I recommend getting both front and rear endlinks from either kartboy or rallitek as our stock ones suck haha

I do love the rear one so far, a major improvement.
Yeah i heard the stock endlinks were garbage. I got the rallitek front endlinks to swap out the oem's. Can't wait to feel the difference. haha.

I think the hatchback's look so clean without all the badges on the back. Phickenstein, I almost left 'impreza' just like yours, but decided to just leave the AWD badge. Both look much better than having a busy ass-end with all the letters IMO.

So now I need some help deciding on my next mod. Its between RalliTek sways, Subwoofer, and KartBoy short shifter & knob.. Any suggestions/recommendations?

no way, the stock shifter is like rowing a boat. short shifter first, 100%.

that is something you use even when you're driving normally. the sways will only come in handy when you're tossing the car around.

+1 ^ first thing I bought for my 2.5i was the short shifter and bushings ( front/ rear stay, linkage, x-member) for the front end (outrigger bushings, rear diff) for the back. The sway I just got a stock WRX RSB which made a difference, and our cars could use better audio to say the least.

Everyday after work I drive back ass roads that get real windy and steep. So fun with the subie, but definitely needs the sways as the bodyroll is a nuisance.

Would you guys recommend buying the KartBoy shifter lever and bushings combo then? Is there anything else necessary? Any suggestions for a new shift knob?

G.Coop you would definitely benefit by getting the sways, i love them so far. Wish i had more windy roads around here.
By the way i love your taillights. I'm thinkin of doing some sort of tint on mine. You do it yourself or did you take it to a proffessional?

i just bought the kartboy ss and bushing combo. i've been racing with the stock shifter and the "rowing boat" wasn't a huge problem. i only got it now cuz i had a coupon and i have no more suspension stuff to buy. i assume it will be better, but imo, it wasn't a huge problem i had to take care of right away*

*this opinion might change once i get my ss in
