'07 2.5i... Where do I start?
Just bought 2007 my 2.5i base wagon, my first subie and man do I love it! I would like some input on adding 30-50 hp the most efficiant way $- wise with reliability and keeping it naturaly aspirated, or is that not possible???

^ my guide For 30-50HP, you're going to need a full exhaust, intake, then cams too. I'd start with intake and exhaust first. But follow the guide. I didn't post cams there, but they would go last. Good luck. |

I believe there was a company that spent $20k upgrading a 2.5RS in order to get it barely past stock 2.0L WRX level. There is no cost effective way to add 50 hp to a 2.5i aside from nitrous.

I would advise doing handling mods. That's the cheapest, easiest, most reliable way to get fun out of your car.
If you still want 30-50 horsepower, though, head on over to the Normally Aspirated forum. |

+30 horse = a quality exhaust and intake *might* get you close
+50 horse = you should have bought a WRX |
