Seem pretty good so far. I price matched them so got them cheap. Too early to tell yet, but they grip very well in a straight line. Have not done much windy driving yet.

Ordered my new fuel pump and spark plugs. One more thin and I'll be fully ready to upgrade from stage 2 to stage 3.52

I have the same tires. Had them for a year now. I like them, great tire for the price. I have high HP so I should have gone with the star specs but totally happy with the tire in general.

Installed my front skid plate. Wishing I had gone with the lighter one after fighting with it so much to install it. It's gonna be a blast to change the oil now
I would suggest that if you are thinking of getting one, try to do it before you already bend up your subframe, can make a bit more challenging to get the bolts to line up!
Also, had to hack up the front a bit to allow for some other custom work up front, felt really bad about doing it to something so pretty but was also happy that a simple dremel could work through 3/16ths aluminum.

The rear diff cover won't be going on until the car is swapped from it's 4EAT to a soon to be in the shop for 6MT swap over!

Notice how the pictures are NOT 2MB in size

Oh, and the tires are Direzza Star Specs, second set, very sticky stuff.

Did some fun under the hood customization. I used a purple to blue chameleon paint on the two covers, battery tie down and the fuze box lid. I am debating on putting a clear gloss over them to help them "pop".
Also fixed that funky problem with the blinker, specifically front right in my case, that a lot of people have. Just took it out and put it back and blam, Good as new.

So I had extra paint and didn't want to disassemble anything too complicated so I used the letters from when I de-badged to write things. I came up with a lot of words (some funny, and some just plane dumb) but this was the one I chose. I thought it was kind of cool. It has the chameleon paint on it (purple to blue)

Rotated tires and cleaned the brake calipers. Was going to replace the brake pads but ran out of time.
Discovered a nail in one of the tires =/ and some expected camber wear. Guess it's time for new shoes.

That ought to lead to some good material for our "funniest/strangest questions about your subaru" thread.

S10: did a piss poor job taking pictures which, in turn, resulted in a speedy clutch swap. new clutch and slave cylinder/throwout bearing, replaced the close but no cigar collector gasket. still gotta get some friction modifier...it's not available on sundays. but it's all buttoned up and back on the ground. my friend/roomie is a beast. we knocked it out in about 4hrs plus a pizza+beer break.

the ring on the bottom of the pic is part of the old throwout bearing.

I promise a scoob post next week...maybe thursday. I'm just excited that my truck is back in action. I can't (haven't tried to) strap my bike tool box down in the subaru and don't like to slow down for turns = box slides, hits door panel, cringe, cry ha ha
