Default Cluster Compatibility?

I have a 93 JDM WRX. I was wondering if its possible to swap a new STi cluster say from a 98 with the higher rpms and white faces?

No, the newer ones are electronic speedo, yours is cable.

I think you could use up to 96?

Ok, but how are you going to get that to fit in your dashboard? The shape is different, plugs are different.

true. I am just looking for something nicer than the old 93 cluster and perhaps a cluster with a speedo that goes past 180km/h
