Default Fire extinguisher mount

Iím looking for a fire extinguisher mount for my Ď12 WRX. Looking for either somewhere in the trunk or the passengers seat. I have one mounted in my SUV that I had to use yesterday to help someone on the side of the road and made me think it would be beneficial to have one in the wrx too.

Any experience or recommendations are appreciated. Thank.

I've had them mounted on the floor in front of the driver seat and in front of the passenger seat. 2 screws through the floor. Metal mount. In my race cars, they've been higher so they're seen from outside the car easily, mounted to the roll cage near the electrical cut off switch.

If this is your daily driver would the heat from the sun make it dangerous to keep the fire extinguisher inside the cabin?

Vehicle is not my daily driver, weekend car. UL requirement of extinguishers is to handle temps of 175F before rupture.

Sounds good.

175F.. Car interiors can get very close to that kind of temp in the sun in the summer. Best to place in the trunk for those thinking about doing this on their daily driver.
