This continues to be really amazing. How did you make the box-ish shaped part of the intake plenum (where the three runners collect to)? The fabrication work is outstanding.

Thank you! The intake manifold was designed on solidworks. And 3D printed out of aluminum. Then it was hand polished

Quick update, got the dual radiators mounted and made some AN lines. Hopefully my next update is a first startup! Haltech is wired!

Planning on doing anything to try and mitigate the heat coming from the headers/turbo/downpipe?

Ceramic coat at minimum, eventually heat shield, turbo blanket

Swaintech offers a really good heat insulating coating called "white lightning" It's much more effective than ceramic coating. However as the name suggest it only comes in a matte white color. I did come across a custom fitted, inconel heat wrapping on a single turbo, stroked 3000gt vr4 build that is supposed to be the best of the best. The guy spent around 2k on the coating but claims his under hood temps dropped substantially.

I'm not sure that this is the same site as on the build i mentioned But it looks similar. I have to say it's a pretty attractive looking solution if you want to shell out the cash.

https://turbosource.com/pages/incone...-ordering-form

I did one of the turbine housing blankets from one of the major companies on my rotated set up. It's already falling apart within just a few thousand miles. I'm going to have to replace it whenever the turbo comes off again. One entire side has the stitching coming loose. Sure it was only about $100. But if i have to replace it every year it's a waste. The site i listed above offers turbine housing wraps. $600+ for a turbine housing wrap is a lot. But if it will work for life it might be worth the cost.

Little update.
Got the car running and driving. First time this car has moved in around 6 years! Put the car on the dyno to get it dialed in before Subiefest. Wasn’t trying to push the stock block, but we ended up making 451whp on 12-14psi and ended up turning it down to 10psi and making 400whp. Took it to Subiefest and got best legacy The plan now is to drive it and enjoy it while figuring out a built motor so we can turn it up and make some power.

I agree, I am planning a built engine. Haven’t decided between destroked 3.2 or just a 3.0
