![]() I am moving from Vancouver to Halifax and i need to use car transport company to move my Suburu Impreza. I got quotes from few companies and lowest i have got is about $1900 from Quick Cars Moving. TBH i do not want to pay so much, is there any other options? Driving seems like too far.

![]() You might want to post in the Canada forum for better regional assistance, although it hasn't had a lot of activity lately-

![]() You can just get a storage unit and use swoop or what ever cheap flight back one way and drive it back, or give CP a call for having it trained across, it used to be around $2k but that was years ago.
My condolences for the move to east. |

![]() Maybe consider flying back one-way and driving it yourself. It's a lot of miles, but it could be worth it if you're up for the road trip. Otherwise, CP shipping was around $2k last I checked, though you might find a better deal.

![]() When I moved from Vancouver to Halifax, I was in the same boat-shipping my car felt expensive, and driving across the country wasn't an option. I got multiple quotes, and the lowest was around $1,900, just like yours. In the end, I found that prices don't vary too much for long-distance car transport, but I did come across a few ways to save. One option is to look for companies that offer terminal-to-terminal shipping instead of door-to-door, which can cut costs. Also, some moving companies, like MiniMove, sometimes offer discounts if you bundle vehicle transport with household moving. Another option is checking online marketplaces where people list empty trailer space, though that can be hit-or-miss. If you're flexible with timing, you might also find last-minute deals when transporters have extra space. It's still not cheap, but a bit of research can help bring the cost down!
