Which FMIC or TMIC are you putting it on? Unless you plan on welding a conventional BOV flange...the STI adapter plate should work.
Thanks. I have the Perrin FMIC. Where did you get the silicon recirculate hose from? And if you don't mind can you post a close up "side" pic of your QR so I can see what's up?

How is the motor doing? Could you describe the type of driver you are? I know this car also hauls your child around and is your daily so I'm assuming you don't really redline it every chance you get right? Just curious on the longevity of a motor being pushed hard like xlubens vs maybe a more casual driver like yourself that may not really put the car through its paces until a track day or random mountain carving day.

I am not nice to the car as a general rule. When I am just DD'ing it around...you are right...I don't high rev it that much. North Atlanta traffic almost prevents that on its own, but every on and off ramp is a chance to have fun!

It also gets tracked and goes on numerous mountain runs.

So far...<knockonwood>...the motor is doing fantastic. Doesn't burn a drop of oil and is still holding the same power from the day it was tuned. Doug at TSM did a fantastic job of tuning the car for the stock bottom end though. It could have made more power but we kept it conservative on purpose until a built motor goes in.

Coming soon. Finalized exactly which one now I just have to get the time to do it. Things have been crazy around the house lately.

The rack is back on now for the winter. There is no way I am going to stick muddy mountain bikes in the back of the car.

Rob! How are things man? I'll be moving up to Atlanta soon. I might need your advice on getting a bike to pedal around on.

Question on your rear STI brake setup? Basicly what you really need is
a set of KNS bracket
a set of re-drilled for 5X100 08+ STI rear rotor(any kind?)
a set of rear STI caliper(any year or 08+ specific?)

Thx

If you do not want to use a bracket for the rear...get a set of 08+'s. Here is how it works (assuming you get STI rotors drilled for 5x100 like most of the DBA line is).

05+ fronts w/rotors
05-07 rears with KNS brackets w/rotors
08+ rears w/rotors

08+ rotors in the rear regardless of caliper year. I forgot to add that.

Man I haven't check out your car in a while! Looks amazing! You have 3way speakers in the front, no rears, no center, and a sub right? How did the MS8 tune turn out for that setup?
