Default taught a mustang the meaning of the beauty of all wheel drive

I was on my way home last night got to a straight stretch and a Mustang GT passed me doing every bit 100+. I let him disappear up the straight way, then i floored it. I know the road like the back of my hand and knew that he would have trouble driving like that when he hit the mountain ahead with all the S curves and sharp turns. I took the mountain at 95 and was right on his ass in seconds. He couldnt handle the turns and was breaking loose and flooring the breaks. I barely touched mine. I could see him lookin in his mirrors, i wish i could have seen the look on his face when that little jap mobile out drove his V8 stang. I stayed with him all the way down the mountain and home, every little straight stretch he would take off but id take him in the turns and pass him. Just proves that anyone can go fast in a straight line but it takes a real car to go fast in the twisties. hahaha

Wow, wish we had mountains down here at the beach! I also love showing V8s the beauty of all-wheel-drive in inclimate weather. I stomped a late '80s firebird and new body Mustang GT with countless bolt-ons and nitrous in a nice slippery drizzle a while back. With many witnesses!!

Reminds me of the Initial D cartoon where the little '86 Trueno Tofu Delivery car beats all the RX-7's and Skylines racing down the mountain.
Of course your car isn't exactly an old beat up Tofu delivering Toyota.

I didn't think they were working on Stage 4 yet... what was this episode with the Impreza supposed to be part of? I know Shigeno has an STI so it wouldn't surprise me if they put one in there but I imagine the Emperors have kind of explored the whole Turbo/AWD aspect of the show...

I think they are working on stage 4 but its not released yet and doesnt have a relese date....I dont know whats going to be in stage 4 but Im pretty sure in the manga he raced a GC8 wrx....along with other cars like a civic type R(besides the red one..dont think that was an R)..and an integra type R..so stage 4 should be interesting.

I am pretty ignorant when it comes to the Manga aspect of Initial D. The only thing I 've ever seen is the thick picture book Mike (Hanzo) has and I know there was a yellow Civic EG6 with a carbon fibre hood in it and a red Miata with a hard top. The start of the Extra Stage Anime is pretty misleading because it shows the Impact Blue ladies racing that yellow Civic and a White R34. I was hoping that would clear up the whole yellow civic thing to me but it wasn't in it at all.
If any of you have the Manga and can actually read it, please fill me in
I kind of got sucked into the whole Initial D thing and need to know!

On the vol. 22 issue of the manga, at the beginning there was a GC8 WRX STI, which beat the crap out of Takumis's 86. If my memory serves me right they never showed who was the driver but in the next couple pages of the manga Bunta was on the phone and said "I really like it, I will buy it".

yeah, I just bought the Tamiya 02 Impreza and Focus WRC last weekend and still haven't finished my Lancia 037. I think after that I will have built all the rally cars I care to do. Then I'll start on the Initial D cars

I have a simalr story

I have a friend with a 93 5.0 stang
He keeps telling me that he could kick my cars a$$ anywhere anytime. So one night it was rainy and there a road near me called the backbone. So I dared him to race he said sure and that he would leave me in his dust. Well we go at it and he is blowing by me in the first part (a straight away) then the back bone started and He started to fish tail and loose it. I Came up from behind him and blew right by him on a s turn at the next hair pin he tired to over take me but the 5.0 When around in a circle.

I stopped and pulled over. He had no damage just spooked him

He hasnt said he could kick my cars butt since then
