my stock size is 205/50/16, these are 205/60/15 (smaller rims) i had a feel around the wheel arch in mine, and i thought the first place to scrub would be the inside wall, so I guess pushing the wheels out further would help to a point |

I guess mine would fit better in this thead than rally prepped
RA basic flaps higher profile tyres on smaller rims, total +5% over stock size I'll be getting action shots in a few weeks from a rallyx |

Here you go, 225/55/16. WRX front springs and Forester STI rear springs with sedan control arms and lateral links.

Nope, because it looks cooler when the wheels are at a jaunty angle
With those tires, I didn't have any room to go wider or taller without fender and strut rubbing issues. They are approximately an inch larger in diameter than the tires you are running. TS/RS wagons equipped with undersized 15" wheels and have funny "stock" tire sizes that are actually smaller than those on RS sedans and 2.5i wagons (205/55/16), even though enough space is available for the the "correct" size tire. Subaru compensates for the small tires by using a 3.9 final drive ratio on TS/RS wagons. Weird, huh? Last edited by ten80; 02-17-2009 at 10:29 PM. |

general makes the grabber at2 in 215/65/16 (which is .4" smaller outside diameter than the 215/70/15's you listed). I used to run them on my legacy wagon with outback struts/springs.

The Grabber AT2 also comes in a 205/75R15 which are listed at 26.8" diameter on tirerack. I probably am going to be running some on my Outback instead of the stock 205/70-15 all terrains when I start rallycrossing it in the stock AWD class.
