I wouldnt go that far... I would however say that they need to tone it down, maybe black behind the seats, or black accents... it looks like they got to the interior and went "we ordered way to much red ****... lets see if we can use it all"

Yeah, no crap! I still have some red bits to add to my interior, but I don't plan on going THAT overboard.

Update: I'm using my STI Duracon knob right now. It's scuffed, but at least it doesn't freeze. I need to buff it. I can definitely feel the notchiness when I shift now. I have to actually work the lever, whereas with the weighted knob I hardly worked it at all.

I don't frequent nasioc like I used to anymore since owning the BRZ because of the lack of support over here for it (forums wise), but seeing as ft86 is down I'm back for a bit, lol. Car looks great man. I really love those STi fender pieces. I might bite off your style and pick up a set of those.

Thanks! I was actually just about to head over to FT86, but I guess I won't now. haha I like it over here since we link each other to FT86 if we need more info. It's chill over here.

I just noticed that Japanparts.com doesn't have the front bumper STI emblem listed anymore! I just emailed Yuki to see what's up.

wurd. to hell with people who actually contribute to the forums!

for instance, their groupbuy subforum is godawful. I've tried to look in there but it hurts. I like NASIOC's approach of one GB thread per vendor.

In the wild.

Just purchased JDM FT-86 exhaust tips. Should be here next week. Temporary fix for cleaning up the rear a little until my exhaust project is underway.

Damnit I am liking those lights more and more...but for that $ I could buy a full lip kit (replica of course). Or an OFT, which I'm really really itching to buy.

When you get tired of those Tom's and want to go back to stock, hit me up...

Will do, Major M! The only way I'd replace them is for the knockoffs that don't have the small "TOM'S" logo on them. It doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would, but I know it's there.

Yeah, you can get the entire STI bottom aero pieces for around $400 right now for the knockoffs on eBay. Pretty friggin' sweet. Would totally jump on it right now, but got other plans coming together. Those Bayson R pieces go kinda quick and seem to pop back up after a month or two.

Thanks! Yup, I've been eyeing the BaysonR set as well. Only $85 for a lip that I'm going to abuse anyway? Hell yeah. I had thought about the JonMotoring stuff, but I get a sketchy feeling from that guy. Dunno why, maybe I just read a bad review and it stuck with me.

I would really love to see something from JNA. I had their lip on my 2010 STi and loved it, but I haven't seen anything from them for this platform. Although, they didn't come out with the GR lip until the car had been out for a few years, IIRC.

Yeah that JNA was legit. I was heavily considering one for my 2011 WRX for the longest time.

I was following JonMotoring and about to pull the trigger, but I think it was ATL_BRZ that gave a bad review on how his lip shipped that changed my mind. Then he took a dump all over JM's vendor thread, where JM admitted he wasn't going to sell the lip anymore since eBay was selling it cheaper anyways.

It's damn near a six person circle jerk now though so be warned.

Do not want to know how you know the "estimated" time it went down.

I actually think for a forum the n00bs really aren't that plentiful.

Not banned. I can see the forum and my account is unbanned, they just put me in a member group where all my posts are only visible to myself and moderators. I can receive PMs and notifications, but I can't reply to PMs.

So pissed. I accidentally shipped my exhaust tips to Seattle instead of direct to Alaska from Japan, and it would've been the same price regardless. Now they'll arrive next week Tuesday and I'll either have to pay extra to have my branch ship up to me direct or wait longer for them to come up with the next stock shipment to Anchorage.

Sometimes you can email the vendor and have them change destinations if you catch them quick enough.

Nope. I paid for expedited shipping. It already left Osaka. Ah well. Only a minor setback.

Btw, Kyle, I stopped by your job after work yesterday, but you had the day off apparently. Had my papers and everything! I won't have another chance until maybe tomorrow.
