Currently installing all 80 gigs. Hope to be playing soon. The wife is out of town so it's just me, the dog and my xbox.

They converted the Burger King across the street from my house to "Burger Town:. Along with a huge tented event area in the parking lot to play with some pro's and stuff. I didn't go by though.

been playing this yesterday and i have to say i'm enjoying it very much so far. a few little glitches with matchmaking as expected as well as sniper rifles seemingly OP (one shot kills to the body) but i'm sure this will all be ironed out in short order.

overall i am not disappoint

I think my brightness is too high. Daytime maps look hazy as hell.

Need to get through the hump of being frustrated because I don't know the maps.

Any word on best guns? I think I read the M4A1 is the most overpowered AR.

Also, what do you guys make of the enemy markers being on that compass thing at the top instead of the mini map?

I either really don't like it or I'm just not used to it yet. I feel like it's not within the peripheral vision enough. I dunno.

It took me a ****in hour of playing to figure out why I couldn't see enemies on the mini map.

when your team has the uav up, i'm pretty sure enemies do show up on the minimap. the compass only gives you direction of shots fired in your area. also keep in mind that suppressors don't hide your fire from enemy compasses.

Yeah, you're right. But I usually just play FFA. No team for me.

Playing campaign on PC since the game came with my graphics card. Very pretty in 1440p, but I have a headache and it’s certainly realistic with ray tracing on - I kind of feel nauseous.

What a **** show.

Tuesday: 128gb preorder download
Friday: 8gb release day download
Friday continued: 10+ minutes of "shaders"

The little time I did have to play over the weekend bwas then plagued by DEV 6165 crashes after only 5-10 minutes of playing. Uninstalled but then hours more of redownloading again.. the error went away but now it seems to be crash after 30 minutes or so.

console were slapping PC gamers in the beta if I remember correctly, and there excuse is "aim assist".

I played for about 30 minutes over the weekend, and I kinda love the AUG. It seems like it got more refined after the beta.

I read that the beta was pro console players. Not sure what the PC guys were.

How is it now in the real game?

It looks like a bunch of xbones are crashing to a complete system shut down. I saw the dev errors discussed on reddit as well, pc errors I'm assuming. I didn't look today but it has me holding off until this **** is fixed for the xbone.

It seems to be worse than that, a bunch of people having continuous system shut downs with the xbone. I'll wait a while.

Not sure how I feel about this either. When enemy fire markers are not shown on the mini map, you sort of lose the context of where the enemy is in relation to the terrain/walls. That was nice, especially for hunting down campers.

But showing enemy fire markers on the compass is probably more realistic. You get a general direction, not a location.

Seems like it also helps even out the odds a bit for people who don't have surround sound or headphones that can provide similar context for direction of enemy fire (left, right, behind, ahead).

I got to play another hour or so on the game yesterday. AUG is still my favorite. M41 seems to be the most balanced AR. I like that the compass for enemy fire, but it does take some time to get used to. The maps so far are OK. Shying away from the traditional 3 lane maps, and it definitely has more of a battlefield feel to it

Visually they did a great job. I'm just terrible and nowhere near as quick as I used to be so I'm constantly getting killed online, which is one of the reasons why I stopped playing a few years ago. I do like the campaign though.

Nvm..... Maps are getting tired quickly, I don't like the whole non asymmetrical style of mapping.

the 725 double barrel shotgun is the most OP weapon in the game. I understand that it's a powerful weapon IRL,(and they're trying to be more realistic) but to hit someone from 10 feet away is still an insta kill. It's nuts. They need to nerf that ASAP....

Other than that I'm finding the FR 5.56 to be an extremely efficient AR if you can hit your shots. SMG's are a bit underpowered, which is to be expected, but the mp5 seems to be my go to none the less.

All in all it's solid for the first couple of days, but I'll probably get tired of it in 6-7 months like all the other ones lol. Haven't played campaign or co-op yet, so there is some replay value.

I didn't like it at all at first, but now I'm starting to enjoy it. One hit kill headshots with a scoped magnum is funny. Riot shield works really well in this game too. Still grinding it out to get a throwing knife. I just unlocked dead silence and it's pretty incredible. I especially like the wider FOV it gives you when it's active. Makes the game feel faster.

New nvidia drivers came out yesterday. Did a clean install of those. Still crashing. Now with random DEV 5xxx and 6xxx errors or no error at all. On the plus side, have actually managed to play more than 10 minutes (and complete a couple of matches).
