I posted it about it the post above his... Just load up on attachments that increase ADS speed, at the expense of more recoil. There isn't much recoil to begin with, so if you focus on ADS speed, mobility, it'll be good.

Yes.

And it's not just this game, either. Lots of shooters have this. There was a CS vid about this a long time ago.

I'm using the subsonic suppressed barrel, commando grip, extended mag, red dot, and fully loaded perk on my MP5. I think mounted kills is the only thing between me and gold on that gun. One gun I wish would suck a whole lot less is the SCAR. No reason to use it over the M4. I can't even bring myself to use the M4 with as much as I despise seeing every single person in the lobby running it(with a 725 secondary).

Gave in and decided to pick it up over the weekend. After a couple dozen matches of getting back in the COD swing of things, I've been enjoying the hell out of it. Particularly when having a full squad rocking through some HC matches.

Would love to hear more on peoples favorite loadouts. Currently playing:

* MP5 - Monolithic supressor, FTAC collapsible stock, Ranger foregrip, 10mm Auto 30 mags, granulated grip tape
* M19 pistol (need to play around and figure out what secondary I want to rock)
* Double Time
* Ghost
* Battle Hardened
* Frag / Stun

Definitely HC all day here. Core’s TTK is too long. I’ve heard good things on the collapsible MP5 stock but haven’t unlocked it yet. Also I’ve switched to the 10mm rounds (ditched the laser) for the extra range and stopping power.

10mm rounds is the way to go... No need for laser when the MP5 is super accurate at hip anyway

Also, TTK in core is too long?!?!?!?! it's literally like 2 seconds.... This is the only COD I've played in the last couple of years that had such a short TTK.

ADS in this game is integral to success especially with an SMG. I really like what they did with the attachments where you can put certain mods on at the expense of other stats. It makes it more balanced and level. I remember Black ops 3, you could literally just load whatever you want on any gun and be god mode with an LMG/pistol/Shotgun.

unless they changed it (I don't remember seeing any notes about it), the 10mm on the MP5 doesn't change the number of hits for a kill. The RPM improves super slightly so that the TTK drops like 1ms (just over .5% faster)

Absolutely. That is why I posted it in reference to him as well as me

It was extremely aggravating getting killed from a shotgun literally mid range. I think I posted it in the first two pages, that it was the MOST OP gun in the game. I would refuse to use it. I also consider myself an accurate shot for AR's, but the M4 would still outplay me at any range. (close, mid, long)

You get to a breaking point and you just say *** it.... I'll just use whatever everyone else is destroying me with.

I haven't played since Sunday, so not sure how bad the M4 is affected, but i'll probably go back to the Famas, and wait till I unlock the AK. Smaller mid sized maps i'll run mp5.

We have different ways of dealing with our breaking points. I stopped playing because I was sick of being out gunned all the time. I HATE using meta weapons. I want to rock my .357 mag and throwing knives and just have fun.

I ain't no try hard. But the game sure wants to put me in try hard lobbies. Thanks strict score based match making. 'ppreciate ya.

I like the AK. Feels good. But it doesn't compete with a lot of the other ARs very well. At least on a low level AK in my hands.

I tried the 725 a couple of nights ago for that new map in FFA...the really tight one. I don't think I did any better. It was insane, it seemed like everyone had it.

THANKFULLY since that match I really haven't seen it much.

I was wrong on the 10mm for the mp5.

It changes your long range kills from 6 shots down to 5.

I've noticed that the spawns are sometimes bizarre. So many times I respawn only to be shot in the back immediately by an enemy that was standing right behind me. And I've also had enemies respawn behind me. I've even observed little glitches where a respawning player will briefly flash before teleporting elsewhere. It's like the respawn algorithm started to put him there, then figured out...nope.

I see they fixed the respawn in Piccadilly, and moved the B flag in Dom. That was good. Before, whatever team was lucky enough to get B first held it the entire game. Two olayers in different shops could easily hold it indefinitely. It would take a coordinated effort to suppress one of them while trying to take B, and the other one in combo with roamers slaughtered anyone trying to get B.

I've been liking the P90 for my SMG. Silenced with extended mags and mods for range. The larger mags usually gets me 2-3 or more kills before reload.

On a couple of the really small maps like Speedball or Stacks, I'm actually finding the LMG to be the best. The PKM with silencer is just accurate enough.

I kept finding on those maps that it was the reload time, even with sleight of hand, that was getting me killed a lot. On Speedball I just find a corner and control the two lanes while dodging grenades (usually tossed from across the map). Of course when I run through the ammo and need to reload the PKM, I'm going to die. I think I made it through that reload once without getting killed.

It was getting to the point where I realllllly wanted to like the game but ultimately couldn't because of the broken weapons. The way I forced myself to like it is use the meta.... I'm with you though, I hate using the meta weapons in ANY game.

Spawns have always been notorious for being trash for the first couple of months in game, until they make them better with patches. We'll get there, but it'll take a couple of months.

I wouldn't mind some old modern warfare maps remastered. Like maybe 2-3.

interesting. although this does illustrate a flaw in the matchmaking, it also demonstrates how theres always some nerd out there playing the game the way it's not supposed to be played so that they can go brag on the internet that it's broken and they were the ones that found it. it's outrage culture meets video games.

I have to say my favorite mode is the Realism Mode TDM, just wish it was less night maps...

I like realism as it's not like hardcore where you can slip and fall into a kill by accidentally shooting someone in the index finger.

But yea the night maps are way too overplayed, and pretty gimmick feature imo. I can stand 1-2 every 7 games but there was a time where I thought the game type didn't have any maps that WERENT night... That's how frequent I was getting them. It's kind of straining on the eyes... Also I've had glitches where everyone had night vision and I was in "regular" mode, which was not a fun match.

When the game doesn't ****ing crash it feels like that for me as well. Im barely at lvl 25 and I may have a decent game then I'll have several terrible ones in a row where everyone is 50-150. Did not know they were doing that.
