some POV footage, I suspected the calipers to be off minutely as there was play in the mic. I was able to confirm the specs with a 3rd set of mics and some plasti-gauge. I used the spare sti crank as a co-witness.

crank journal 52.18-52.20mm, w/ bearings 52.05mm. Plastigauge Tq. 35ft lbs, left me with a .0015 squish. Im not sure what the Tq. spec should be using sti rods on a wrx crank should be, but I've decided to follow the spec designed for the rod.

My boy Albert over at Tarmac Garage w/ the save!

Replaced Timing belt w/ gates, Tensioner w/ an OEM, replaced Tensioner bracket, new oem battery and the car fired right up.

I haven't seen a sent of good/new condition oem gold wheels in a while. I picked this by eye. It was a spanish gold.

This is also no personal attack on the cleanliness of your engine bay, but man, it always blows me away how dusty southwest cars can get under the hood! Everywhere else the dust gets partially rinsed every rain storm and what doesn't turns to hidden black muck

haha no offense taken. The winds out here hit 70mph sometimes. As the car sat, the dust built up. I'm just glad it's running again.
