Yes, The image with the intake on the car is before I fabricated the plate for the sensor. The Second is the MAF housing, plate, and the sensor being bonded with silicone.

Looks awesome but it isn't going work on the NA FB20 motor with the MAF sensor. Go to the NA threads on the forums and read up on the CAI/SRI threads and you will learn that the 'Hybrid' mod is the only way it will work right. Hope Williarty isn't reading this...lol

*PHEW* Not a troll! Vacuum leaks in the intake path can cause a CEL. Scan your code.

The problem with intakes is the MAF scaling. The ecu thinks it is ingesting a certain amount of air based on the stock intake plumbing. If you modify it it is likely flowing a different amount of air. The ECU needs to be re-scaled for the new air flow rate. Otherwise your car could be totally confused as to why the AFR is not behaving the way it was expecting. This could result in a too rich or a dangerous too lean condition.

Thanks guys, I am much more informed on my intake project thank before. I will defiantly be doing more research into MAF Scaling and leaks. When I read my codes I did have a system lean error code so that will do it. It is all just a learning experience, hopefully I don't do anything that will lead to permanent damage
As for my Strut Bar, I ordered it through the dealership. I believe the product code is SOA8431130. |

Thanks. I didn't know that Subaru had released a non-adjustable strut brace because the adj. SPT one is 500.00 which is crazy....How much was it?

Yeah, I got mine for about $230. It took just about a day to ship to the dealership. When I went to order it, the parts department said it was new to the SPT catalog.

I got most of the holes sealed it seems. When I first started up the car I got just under 2000 rpms, took it around to see if there where any holes. I heard some hissing. Turned it off checked the piping and it started up at just under 1000 rpms. So, there's defiantly a lot more work to do. |

Just be aware that if you have engine problems it won't be covered under warranty.

or just make them yourself. if you search around you'll find the how to. i was planning on this at some point, not pink but same difference. Once you get the badge off, goof off takes the paint right off the inside of the emblem leaving the chrome stars and a clear background ready for your paint of choice. i'm assuming the 2012 emblem is able to be modified like this as well.
