Looking forward to seeing pics of these and the new fog covers on your RA!

Any plans to buy the chassis bracing?

I just pulled the trigger on a healthy order for "overnight parts from Japan", from Japan parts.

Mirror caps have been ordered and paid for!

It's going to be a while before any of these parts go on the car, but at least I'll have them in my possession!

Edit, forgot about the chassis bracing; I still plan to, but it'll most likely be late this year.

Awesome, man!

Then you just need to upgrade the tires and hand the keys over to our resident VIR expert, NightHawkSTI, to do a back-to-back comparison with the S209. Both will obviously need a 3" downpipe to replace the 2004 era downpipe He's also an expert at launching, so he can test the 0-60 times while he's at it.

... I don't even know where to begin, too much:

I can't believe another thread bit the dust, even the mod called them out.

On a serious note, I think I'm going to leave the RA alone (engine wise) and focus on light weight mods and running as many OEM/STi parts as possible.

I think those mirror cars are ugly as sin, but I love the Type Ra-R fog light bezels I added to my 2019.

Edit: If those fins are hella functional my opinion will change.

I doubt STi would offer a piece in dry carbon if it didnít have some benefit to offer, but any yes, real life benefit has yet to be seen.

What I imagine they do is smooth out the air flow around the mirrors.

My guess as well, but I could see Subaru engineers slapping each other on the back for the quarter of a kilogram of weight reduction.
