Gotta revive the thread a bit

Full gutted, lots of metal cut out internally when the cage went in. Super light seats, CF roof panel, hood, drive shaft.

Scale read 2,860 with me in it with a couple items. We weighed 147 so the car is currently at 2,713 with a nearly full tank, full cage, and six speed/r180.

Future goals are 2,500, then pushing to the low 2,300 range. CF front doors and hatch, lexan, gutting hatch, drag brakes, and lightweight suspension components will hopefully get me there.

So, 90 pages. 2229 posts. And yíall just stopped? No posts in almost 8 months? Surely itís past time for the usual ďJust take a dump before you hit the track lol!Ē trolling?? {yes; I called you Shirley. Youíre freakin trolls. I should care? }

But, seriously, itís fun to see how ocd some people got chasing fractions of an ounce-AND the creative work-arounds other people came up with. And, kudos to those willing to post failed experiments: thatís how we learn.

Now I really want to go delete my front bumper-beam. And those brackets, and, and, and.....

Most of the people who really tried to drop weight have done so and posted about it. Then most of the people simply duplicating old strategies tend to not post something showing they "did it too". I get pm'd about this thread more than it gets posted in sense the last time I posted something in here.

Update: My car is still light. lol.
