Default IA Performance is great

What can I say. These guys are terrific. I dealt with Stephen, he's the best.
Anything I asked him he knew the answer off the top of his head, even cited dyno plots for each item I asked him about with my set up.

I ordered a fully built sti ver6 type ra trans from Stephen. It arrived in less than a week! Thank you, thank you for top notch service!

Earlier this year, my MAF connector plug and wiring accidentally fell down the side of the engine, and got melted onto my exhaust manifold, rendering it completely useless.

I scoured all my local workshops and wreckers looking for a new one, and short of buying an entire wiring loom, I couldnt get one.

I emailed a few vendors from this forum, and got some responses...some with the parts, some without. The ones who had the parts, quoted me RIDICULOUS costs for them.

Stephen from IAPerformance.com, didnt have this part at that point in time, but he did some searching for me and found it elsewhere...at a very reasonable cost of ZERO DOLLARS, plus postage!!!

The part got to me super quick and well packaged.

For this, I commend Stephen on his fantastic customer service, and his ultra fast responses to my emails

Got a JDM v7 swap at IAperformance near end of 2005. Smooth and fast, is all I got to say.

Only one hickup along the way: the AVCS doesn't seem to want to work for us. But Stephen stepped up and spent a few days troubleshooting the wiring. After determining that it wasn't the wiring, he went ahead and ordered two more solenoids from Japan.

Awesome! I can't wait to get my Ver8 swap going! Glad to hear that the AVCS will get fixed....no offense, but I hope mine turns right over!

Yeah, 90% of my drivetrain is from Stephen & co. Should end up being a slick setup!

Ordered rear speaker mounting bracket
4/13/2006 12:55PM - Placed Order
4/13/2006 8:56 PM - Order processing
4/14/2006 3:04PM - E-mail from USPS saying that it shipped with tracking #
4/17/2006 - bracket received
4/18/2006 - e-mail from IAP saying that it should have been received.

Overall very happy. Lots of e-mails, almost on the excessive side, but thats fine with me.

Dauss- we've tried to cut back the emails a tad, but they're just too easy to send every time Glad to hear all items were received in a timely manner. Let us know if there is anything else we may help you with.

I'm sure a lot of customers would prefer excessive e-mails than none : )

Spoke with Stephen today about some Aquamist parts I needed. He was very helpful and took the time to answer all of my questions.

IA Performance is a great company to deal with.

Thanks!

Thumbs down IA PERFORMANCE! (scammers)

i orderd some speaker brackets from them and was charges 54$ no big deal. i recived the package and everything is good. the sender was GABE

a week later i recive anothe package in the mail from IA, and look at the invoice and see its another set, and now the sender was SC, at this point i was now charges with 108$

i though i accedentaly orderd 2 and so i checked the original invoice and they were the same 1 order. they just decided to bill me twice and send 2. when the invoice only asked for 1

so i call gabe and told him abbout the situation and he said that they accedentally send 2 and billed me twice, he said he would take care of it right away and would email me.

3 days later no email no phone call nothing

i now owe 150$ ito the bank because of the 54$ IA billed me for an the overdraft fees. and still no word from IA.

im going to call them tomorow morning to see what happend but this is not cool at all.

ill update on this asap!

I've ordered numerous parts from IA Performance with no problems. I would consider them a legit vendor which gave me good customer service. It sounds like they made a mistake, but I wouldn't go so far as to call them scammers.

Hopefully they can clear things up when you talk to them tomorrow. Good luck...

Call your bank about the situation about the company over charging what you originally intended. They can't blame you for a company overcharging you and than laft a NSF on ya because that was not your fault. You knew how much you had in your bank, and how much they were "supposed" to charge. So make sure to contact them.

You need to ask a mod to modify this thread title. Sounds like they simply made an error and they are fixing it. Hate to see IA get a bum rap from the title.

I'm glad they're taking care of you, waving the scammer flag is a very serious accusation these days.

And thank you for being professional in regards to the title of this thread, way to call people scammers before they even had a chance to fix the problem.
