I found a good thread to discuss the exhaust you want on your car:

This morning I made the conscious decision to feed the troll, so I'm not surprised by how it has turned out. You have been quite dedicated to your "discussions" even despite the fact that it has become very obvious that everyone finds you to be annoying and argumentative.

You're willing to go in circles with no resolution for a seemingly endless period of time. I have simply suggested that your own thread would be a much more acceptable place to do this. Then you will find the people who truly want to "debate" with you, as opposed to simply creating pages and pages of garbage in specific build threads and general photo threads.

The internet... making people tough the second they log in.

Back to the build thread. Xluben, what other plans do you have for your car and do you plan on selling it or keeping it in the future?

I do love the look of the split on that Ark though...it looks mean. I don't like it enough to get rid of the GReddy, but it is definitely my second favorite exhaust. I was never a fan of the Q300 and other rolled tipped single walls. I didn't want the burnt look either (even though in most cases you can just use metal polish to get it off). The GReddy was the best of all worlds for me.

BTW...you still need a steering wheel. Just sayin'

I understand that you got a little raw after some of my comments, and now you want to get back at me. Hence feeding the troll. I expected this result, but pages and pages of keyboard vomit was a little more than I thought I'd get

That's the thing. My car. I don't mind when you compliment my car. Or make negative comments about my car. Or have discussions about my car. Call me selfish, but it's my name in the title of the thread, so I don't expect to spend 3 pages discussing what features CeleryGT wants on his mythical fantasy exhaust.

That is why I suggested you move such discussion to your thread. That would be a perfect place to go one endlessly about something that cannot be accomplished. You can even talk about VTEC and all the Honda mods and no one will really care.

The internet is serious business.

Future plans are to drive it for a while. Considering a bigger turbo, but fuel system probably needs to come first. Going rotated wouldn't end up costing a fortune, but getting the fuel to make a decent amount more power would cost a lot.

Brakes seem like they could be on the list someday too, but for the minimal track time the bang for the buck isn't that high. It is mostly just bling for the internet, lol. I do plan on keeping it. It's crossed my mind to sell for an STI, but those days are long gone.

Yes, I also prefer the flared, double wall, non-burnt tips. I think the new ARK DTS is going to be like this, so it could be a close contender compared to the Greddy. The dual mufflers/resonators on the ARK look really cool and different, and they really do kill the drone. I sincerely hope the Greddy is quiet so then I actually keep it, haha.

Forgot about the steering wheel. That's another thing I've lusted after for a while.

Have you ever thought of building an older Sti or anything like that, or would you stick with the new stuff?

Yes! It has definitely crossed my mind. But not having my "fun" car as my DD isn't quite the same to me.

So here's the real question, are you already dumping the Ark for the Greddy? I have been thinking of another cat-back just because of the Q300 drone and have been reading this to figure out what you think and everyone else for drone and sound.

we were discussing YOUR exhaust because you are the musical exhaust guy. Maybe I went off on a tangent towards what type of exhaust I would like but the bottom line was that we were talking about your car, my car isn't interesting to talk about..lol. I thought my responses were pretty much inline with your recommendation to install an "O" pipe on my car. Also you said you weren't paying $1000 for an exhaust and then you got on me for saying $1700 was an absurd exhaust price. (I know, I know used exhaust is cheaper durrrrr and only 1 person in north america owns a greddy SE catback making it impossible to find without waiting at least 8 days)

Possible. I don't mind quiet. I like how the stock one sounds. If it was 3" and had nice tips I'd be fine with it.
