Do empenadas count? According to the Wikipedia definition of dumpling, it should. There's a place that opened up in a local market thing here, and as much as I love gnocchi, they're freaking awesome.

How about arepas? They probably don't count, but there's a Peruvian bakery and some local food trucks that have them, and they're pretty much *>starch around maybe food.

I dunno... maybe a very small empanada could be considered a dumpling?

I for one put them in a separate category. Still delicious though.

Peking Ravioli are the same as potstickers. Someone gave them a nickname and that stuck like a chinese dumpling.
