Wirelessly posted (mai little phone: BlackBerry8100/4.2.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I got here before they opened and it is already about 300 people long. I see the line moving. They must have opened!

I'm hoping that is the case for my town as well... I've got an 8am conference call and I'm leaving to go stand in line after that.

The line in my home office was ridiculous. I don't know how I did it, maybe it was the fridge full of beer that helped me through it.

Mail in ballots FTW.

7 more hours until I go vote. I'm hoping the lines aren't as bad around 2pm.

It was probably the busiest I have seen it. I got there a few minutes before 6:00 and I was maybe #7 in line, but when I left, there was a line of cars out the parking lot.

I got there late (at 6:30am) and it took an hour and fifteen minutes.

Maybe you should make this into a poll about how long it's taking folks? Apparently people are up for voting today....might get a good response.

There were about 10 people in front of me. It was agony. I had to wait at least 5 minutes.

I plan to go around 10 today. Every time I tried to go to early voting, the lines were 2+ hours long, so I thought that today would be less busy since they have more polling places.

You should be good then. One of my co-workers just came in and said he waited around 15 minutes in Morrisville this morning.

WRAL reported last week that 2.6 million votes were already cast with something like 6 million registered voters. That was the beginning of last week though.

I just hope I don't have to stand outside today.

I saw that some places here made cardboard voting booths. tri-fold cardboard on a table. i live in a town with a lot of older people, so I am hoping they're all in bed by the time i get there - 6:30.

Lines at my place were out the door when I swung by on the way to the office. I have meetings this morning so I'll have to go back after work.
