Default price quote on paint correction and full ppv front end

Hello guys i have a Sti and was pointed to a reputable detailer who quoted me at 2500$ for paint correction (1 step or first level) and ppv for the entire front end ( hood , fenders, mirror and bumpers ) Ive been out of the game for a while, he said the supplies run 12-1300 and they use xpel only

thoughts? good price , high?

At this price I'd just save the money and repaint the whole car in a few years, maybe even change the color.

What does your paint look like now? That seems expensive unless (1) you live in NYC or (2) your paint is hammered and is going to require tons of work.

Does this include ceramic coating?

Who were you going to use or did you use to do the work? That price is close to what I paid for full xpel front end coverage and cquartz finest ceramic coating with paint correction

For you location I really don't think that's a bad price. Does that include ceramic coating?

That sounds about right for the PPF, typically we charge $1850 for a full front end in Xpel Ultimate Plus.

Is he bulk cutting the film or using the Xpel software and a plotter? The plotted cut can be neater than bulk (hand) cut, but it also may lack in coverage unless the installer extends the edges and deletes items from the kit to be hand cut later.

As others have asked does that include a ceramic coating on the film as well as the paint?

The one stage "enhancement" will clean up your paint decently, but it will be short lived without a long term form of protection like a coating or at the very least a polymer/silica sealant.
