I might as well replace the water pump as well, so I'll go with this kit: http://www.rallysportdirect.com/Gate...-WRX-2002-2003. Not too sure where to get the bearing from. Think Typhoon will have them?

From what I looked at with the mechanic, the oil seems to be coming from quite a few spots.

i'd still like to look at it... the normal spots where they normally like is main front crank seal, valve covers and cam seals.

Any of you guys ever mess around with the HKS Camp 2? Seems pretty straight forward to hook up, but I'm not getting a signal...only power.

Sometimes they are reasonable. Pending on how hard the job is. They mainly do the wires trouble shooting and installing electrical parts, ex: boost controller, turbo times, keyless door locks.

Checking in with the Oki crowd.

I drive Shane's old white B4.

For those who are not familiar, it has a single turbo conversion (VF28) SA Ohlins, DCCD, and a Kazz rear diff.

Since I've taken ownership I've:
-removed the sub brace
-removed the 3 gauge pillar
-moved the water sprayer activation switch to the dash using an empty button slot
-removed the push to start button
-moved the DCCD buttons to the center consul
-cleaned up the wire mess under the dash (replacing twisted wires with connectors and shrink rap)
-installed a quick steering rack
-blew the motor
-replaced the clutch
-put in a new engine
-swapped exhausts
-replaced rear CV boot
-replaced front steering boot
-rewired the door speaker connections (rusted out)
-added dual catch cans
-the list goes on......

I really miss the days of driving a reliable car back in the states!

Speaking of B4 Legacys I'm helping a friend on island do a Ver7 engine and 6spd swap into his black B4. We are collecting the parts now and wait until I get back from my long TDY sometime early next year.

We have now:

Ver 7 GDB STI motor
Ver 7 GDB 6spd
Ver 7 GDB wiring under dash harness
Another B4 under dash harness (so we don't have to take his car apart right now)

We are taking our time getting the other stuff and fixing something's on the eng. Iwire will be merging the harness together..

pictures

all that is going into this B4

My bugeye is in the shop, had a cracked radiator reservoir, so I'm getting that replaced at the same time they're doing the bodywork from the accident.

Also picked up a clean rear bumper and wingless trunk from Typhoon (of all places) yesterday!

Also, does anyone know where I can get some JB Weld? I've got a quarter size hole in my exhaust and would like to get it patched up.
