OKAY...so it turns out that I was leaking around the BPV. My silly self forgot to tighten down the bolts to the bpv, and while driving around, I lost a bolt which opened up the area even more. Everything is dialed in quite nicely now.

I noticed most of you guys are trying to tune with 1200+ cc injectors, but has anyone had any experience or issues with the 850cc side feed injectors from Five-O? I'm planning on picking up a set, but after reading around it seems like there's a lot of folks having problems with the injectors coming from them =/

Bumping this thread one time. I plan on picking up a set of the 850cc top feed injectors, from the factory they recommend a latency of .75ms @ 14v. Does this seem a bit low? Anyone have a base table they could send my way?

Sounds like their sidefeeds are not that great, how about their topfeeds?
I was going to order a set of their 1400s, I will post some logs when I get them running.. |

It's really not their sidefeeds.....it's pretty much all sidefeeds over 1000cc. They all run like crap on pump gas.
The best solution is to do a tf conversion. |

I have a set of 1000cc injectors on my STi. It was tuned by Mikey from Phatbotti Tuning. I haven't had any issues other than e85 being a bitch to start when it's cold out. And the car eating gas, but that's because its hard to stay out of boost.
For the price and lack of experience with other injectors, I'd buy them again. |

^^. Did u tell mike about the cold starting issues? That can be tuned out. That's not something that's specific to five-0 injectors....that's specific to e85

Is anyone using these injectors on E85? What latency and flow scaling values are you using? I am having a problem with these injectors at certain throttle position AFR starts to swing from lean to rich and the car is studdering a little.

I want to bump this thread. I have been tuning a car with side feed 1200cc for the past few days. I just want to say that these injectors SUCK!. And that is putting it lightly. The fueling is all over the place at idle. The fuel corrections will be flat one minute then out of nowhere the afr will shoot rich and corrections swing wide. That may last a few seconds then back to normal for a while. But corrections still arnt what I would call acceptable.
As for idle control. SUCK! You can stop at a light and idle corrections are ok, stop at the next light and corrections will be -25. Next light they may be ok again. System voltage is stable, maf voltage is stable, map, all the data is correct and nothing to cause this behavior. I would not recommend these injectors to any customer or client to install on there car. |

I have the 1600's and was having trouble with the afrs swinging from stoich to ~19 at idle and light, light throttle. Turned out I had a bad injector that was misfiring like crazy (logged roughness and it was reaching 100 at idle). Log your roughness on all 4 cylinders and if you don't see anything out of whack raise your idle and play with your tip in and you can correct the stalling issue.
