2016 CWP STi Limited - "Elsa"
I've stepped up to a 2016 Subaru STi from a 1995 Accord EX automatic. It's a bit of difference, don't you think?
Its been a fun 750 miles to this point!

Thanks everyone! Things are going well. The biggest change I've noticed to this point is just how much attention this car gets from, well, everyone! People gawking, Civics trying to race, muscle cars doing fly-bys, etc. It seems like it's garnering attention at every stoplight.

Looking forward to some future modifications on your car in this thread. Oh and just to let you know, that extra button in between the rear license lights to open the trunk is only on STi Limited and WRXs with Push Start and keyless access. All others only get the key fob option and the trunk button on the dash. Bummer.

I had tons of railroad dust on my new 2016. Whether your car is brand new or not, everyone should clay bar their vehicle before sealing it with wax, so I did a short video on just how easy it is.
I see so many WRX and STi owners still hanging their gas caps next to their paint. Did you know your 2015+ had a gas cap holder? Check it out... |

I find it very hard to believe that people don't know about the gas cap holder...

I had a request on my channel from someone wanting to see what the taillights, headlights and turn signals looked like at night so I made a very quick video last night.
I'm always up for helping others see things that they want to know more about! |

Beautiful car!
You should really look into using iron-x first though if you're concerned with rail dust/IFO, especially on a white car. Then clay. I clayed, sealed, and waxed my CWP '15 the night I brought it home with the dealer plastic still intact, only to be greeting with dozens of pinpoint-sized rust spots months later when spring came around. Iron X Review from Autogeek.net . Old but good. And, I almost cried a little when you put your plastic bottle of quick detailer on your hood. Don't make more work for yourself. And one last thing, when taking off anything with a microfiber towel, fold it in two. That way, you have eight possible clean sides before you need to reuse any side or switch to a new towel. Any time used trying to avoid rotten swirl marks is time well spent(even on a white car)! Good luck with it! |
