Are you supposed to eat them on their own?

I think folks eat them on crackers and such... I couldn't do it! My wife usually loves such things, she was a no-go. Most telling was even my cats didn't want it.

Yeah, that would probably be a good use for it.

Chipotle.
Probably expected too much from them. Meat looked like scraps trimmed from a good cut, rice was bland, tortilla was chewy - not like stale but like thin and cheap. Perhaps a combination of growing up with Mexican food and going to good places (Bell Street Burritos) has ruined such places for me. It would do in a pinch, but definitely worse than expected.

If your cats are anything like mine, mine are so spoiled that they turn up their little noses at a lot of stuff a cat ought to be glad to eat.

That's what happens when you put the pussies on a pedestal.

The first Chipotle I had tasted exactly like a Slim Jim. I didn't try it again for about 8 years. I still don't care for it when there are real Mexican places around. It's like their menu is based off something a white person read about a burrito without actually tasting anything.

First three visits to chipotle generally involved torrential diarrhea. I knew that **** was bad before it was even in the news. Combine the above and I generally avoid any type of assembly line bull**** knowing it's crap catered to the great unwashed. (And they'll love them for it.) See also: Blaze Pizza, Subway, Pieology, etc.

Chipotle's beef is off somehow. I would never eat their food on my own but when it's free their chicken dishes are decent.
