Default Aps Fmic?

If I read correctly, this FMIC is available in black in lieu of the silver color.

Does anyone have this FMIC in black with some pics they would care to share?

How was the fitment of this IC?

Thanks!

I had the black one for a bout a week. Then I sent it back for the silver one. Never had a chance to fit it though. However they are made for the WRX, so the fitment is without a doubt top notch.

Do a search for "APS FMIC."

Any particiular reason you sent it back in lieu of the silver colored one? Just want it to be seen?

I hear only good things about APS so, I would assume this would fit with no snags.

I am looking to buy this myself - This is what I know:

Install takes a while, however compared to Greddy the bumper has to be cut minimal and this comes with a support beam!!!.. From what I hear this is one of the best!!!

Good Luck - I am looking for one used..

There was a WRX with the black APS FMIC at the meet today. It looked like it wasn't there, unless you were really looking for it. Very stealth. I've decided that's the intercooler for me.

The APS FMICs pretty much take up the entire opening on the front of the car, so if you get a black one you can't really even tell it's on the car. The first time I saw one it looked like a screen or something.

Cause I want it to be seen.

And not bumper beam cutting required. the only thing you have to do is trim the bumper skin, meaning the front bumper.

It will fit without any snags. Its a WRX specific FMIC.

Excellent, that is exactly what I am looking for. Gotta be sneaky with my black WRX, I figure I will: get a black FMIC, ditch my hood for an RS one OR get a flat screen made like the EVO, and pull the WRX off my truck for a very plain ride.

Anyone have a pic of a car with this FMIC?

I'll get some more pics up soon. You can barely see it, but you can see the NX Ntercooler ring on it.
