Default Clutch Decision: 15 WRX

Yeah, Yeah, I know another help be pick a clutch thread, bare with me if you can.

I have a 15 wrx, it has 26k miles, TBE and a protune sitting around 305/315. Promptly after finishing the protune my clutch has started to slip when I get on it. (proceed to the comments to make fun of me for destroying my clutch this quickly come back when you're done). The car is my daily and because I'm an idiot I do track days with it (hpde maybe TA), and autoX (maybe 4 a year).

Many folks have similar or more power than me and run stock clutches and get by just fine some have gone to flex fuel and up to 350/350. So what do I really need?

Its a DD so it's gotta be a full face organic

Will and Exedy stage 1 be enough, its only rated at 301wtq, but supposedly it has 40% more clamping than OE which can already handle more than that.

Or should I over build it, something like a CC stg2 (or similar) which was recommended by someone I trust as being as much clutch as you should really put in a WRX unless you want to destroy it.

Is putting a strong clutch in a WRX a death sentence or the 5+1 or does it make sense to upgrade to deal with the heat and abuse I'm likely to give it?

Stick with a new OE flywheel or get a somewhat lighter (and lets not forget cheaper) streetlite?

Has anyone done one of this gen in their garage/ is there a writeup? I've got skilled buddies and a well stocked garage, I'm just not sure how much of a pain it'll be and don't want to fail and have to tow it to a shop to pay them to finish the job

Bumping my own thread here as I continue researching.

Velox released "billet" clutch forks and pivots for the new VA WRX and some people had suggested that it was a great upgrade. I was digging through the Subaru online catalog and as it turns out it is the same part that has been in tons of subarus (wrx since 06).

That casts some serious doubts on how necessary those parts are.

There also seems to be come confusion on what fits with a lot of the vendors, some kits are cross listed some aren't. From the research I've done it looks like these really aren't different than anything 06+wrx. Any of those flywheels will bolt on, the clutch fork action is the same. Which leads to the conclusion any clutch kit for 06+ will fit.

The stock flywheel for the new VA WRX is a different number, though the pressure plate and the friction disk are the same and so is the pilot bearing (they use that one in literally everything). So what is the difference, maybe a different weight?
