Default Hmm, something fishy on ebay. OT'ers do you smell anything?

So I'm interested in a tranny for a WRX and found one on ebay. Here's a few links. To the sale, the bid history for the sale and finally for the bid history on another WRX tranny this user has sold. What's up with all the new user bids bumping up the price. I know I rarely accept bids from a new user unless they contact me first via email etc...

Here's the fishy part. 2 days ago I message him asking him what the reserve was and if he was willing to tell me. He emailed me back within 3 hours and said it was $700. I was like cool, the last bid was for $365. Well the following morning with 5 days remaining or so remaining the current bid went from $365 -> $700, funny ehhh?? Well check out this bid history and tell me what ya'll think. Creating user accounts and bumping up his own auctions?

I'd make it a point to email eBay to crosscheck the domains for the email addresses that those names were all signed up under.

I'd pull it if i was in that deprtment personally.....looks WAY to fishy

spam bidders is the main reason i won't buy anything until the last HOUR of the auction if i want it, then i bid at the last moment, even if there are NO bids, I will wait til the very end to grab it.....hate peopel who inflate their bids

Looks like typical e-bay price bloat! That pope baseball card was bloated somewhere near 50 times by the seller via another username.

I don't get reserves. Just put the damn opening bid at the minimum price you're willing to let it go for. sheesh.
