Default Swapping boost gauge

How simple is it to swap the OEM Lamco boost gauge to a different one (possibly a Prosport mechanical)?

Is the current one broken?

If they're both mechanical it should be just swapping tubes and cutting, splicing, and re attaching wires for lights.

The Lamco is off by a couple hash marks but that seems to be a common problem among the OEM gauges.

Would be as simple as cut and paste. However the lamco is not a 52mm gauge like the prosport so the steering column mount won't work without modification.
