Default Hpx Maf 05 Sti

I am trying to find out if anyone has used a blow through HPX MAF on an 05 STI. I would like to keep my factory ecu and tune through ECU FLASH or something similar. Can this be done, if so how? Has anyone done it?

more details on the setup/combo would help

I used a fmic perrin blow through maf tube briefly with not so great results

but why not just go sd or hybrid maf/sd?

I haven't seen it tried before but I'm curious now. The 0-5v signal should be compatible with the stock MAF. If the IAT signal isn't compatible, you could just use a GM IAT sensor - that's a fairly common swap for Subarus and wouldn't be much extra work.

I also tried blow-through with the stock sensor, also with poor results. But HPX is available with a sensor+housing combo that might fix the issues that have come up with so many blow-through setups.
