Exterior difference between a Version 7 STi, and a USDM '02 WRX
Title pretty much says it all. But what are all the visual differences between a Version 7 STi and the '02 USDM WRX?
I know: - Head lights - Front Grill - Side Markers - Hood Scoop - Door Stickers - Rear Badge Anything else I'm missing? I'm thinking of making my Bugeye into a Version 7 STi.

Was the roof vent on the standard Version 7 STi?
Forgive my n00bness but what is a strake kit, and spats? I don't know much about cars look wise, I know more about the mechanics of them. |

Rear spats: Although, all the pictures of the v7 STi I've seen do not have the strakes or the rear diffuser/spats. Usually it's the OEM painted sideskirts, v1/v2 lip and obviously, the rest of what you've mentioned. |

Anyone have a good high-res pic detailing a Version 7 STi? I keep trying to find good ones online, but just get the newer models.

I know this thread is a like a million years old, but does anyone know if a JDM version 7 STi rear bumper fits a USDM 2002-2003 bugeye? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the response. Got my version 7 rear bumper take off installed this weekend, but what did you all do for the licence plate? The hole in the bumper is larger in all dimensions than the usdm one. Is there a mounting bracket or something or should I just get creative?
Also. Nice car in above! |
