Post Got 2001 impreza 2.5 RS brochure today

Don't kow if this is old news but?
The 2001 2.5 RS remans unchanged. Same body Same motor and availible in 2door or 4. They did bring back Black for 01 while keeping current colors as well.

It does mention a carbon fibre trim dash standard.

Carbon fibre dash trim was available in the 2000 also. The new model should be out late summer of next year as a 2002 model.

Yuck. There is a reason I didn't get the carbon fiber dash trim. Plus I am yet to see it in ANY Impreza other then the borchures. *shrug*

I don't understand how Subaru can still be building the 2001 impreza in the old body style, when the new model is set to debut in japan I believe at the end of august?
I wonder for how long they will be building
the 2001's in the old body?

Along with the STANDARD carbon fiber trim comes the STANDARD increase in the price of the RS. i think it was a $500 option. A bit pricey for some plastic.

standard carbon tirm, cd player, and floormats. and for the record I just bought my MY01 (w/security package, premium package, moonroof deflector, arm rest, and automatic trans.) for less than more than half the people who bought their MY01 ...i'll just say under $20k with everything.

I still don't understand the fascination with bragging about how much you got your car for...it's almost as bad as people bragging about the specific part they put on their car.

"The N1 is the best exhaust ever made for the Impreza."

"I got my car for the cheapest because I'm such a good bargainer."

"I can waste more time on the i-club than anyone else."

Sorry, it's been a long night, and this is a standard rant.

My MY99 was cheaper than your MY99!
