High RPM = no clutch disengage
I posted before about my car being really hard to shift. Wanting to blame the Mobil1 I put in there when I swapped the trans led me to a couple oil changes. First went to 50/50 Mobil 1 / Sycromesh, got better. Now running 50/50 Red Line HW shockproof and Red Line MT90, feels way better ....
Now I'm feeling better about shifting so I'm taking it up in the revs to feel this stage 2 power I haven't be able to use yet (all done at trans swap) . But here's what happens... Run it up in the revs, disengage the clucth and let off the gas to shift, and the engine stays ENGAGED with the driveline !! Like you are just running it up to 6500 and letting off the gas.. Only happens at high revs.. It's not a smooth kinda thing either, pretty choppy decel. Any ideas?
