Borla Headers with subaru gaskets -> $220USD Shipped.

http://www.rs25.com/forums/vbclassif...?do=ad&id=2878

if it weren't for my 'broke-student" status.....and the exchange rate, I'd snatch that up in a second.

they have some other nice prices on exhaust parts... how about this....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=400015706487

they state application for 02-07 WRX/STi. do WRX and STi use the same exhaust parts for those years?

i dunno man, i wont comment on their wrx stuff cause i have no experience with it....all i know is their RS header is awesome quality, everyone on RS25 runs them and loves them, i had them for a year and a half and never had a problem....sold them to a friend when i went crazy and decided to rs-t it up and he's had them on the car for a year with good results....they dont really add any power(welcome to the ej251), but they sound awesome....and i am a ricer! lol....

fitment on them isn't the bestest ever, but nothing a little muscle doesn't fix....and a rubber mallot of course because it is crucial to incorporate the use of a rubber mallot into every install you do.....jesus action figure by your side helps too

^^typically no. the 'sale' price is normally the price you would get with a normal discount. the people without a discount would normally pay more than that, but i bet you could get them for 21.99 any day of the year with a discount membership.

I'm pretty sure that's the one at Garage 5 in Richmond.... something about when they started taking it apart they could see the metal shards. Oil dehydration = owned engine.

No i don't think that is the case because I tried to purchase it when it was regular and they said the discount wouldn't even apply to it. But i find stuff like that occurs from store to store. It's a real hit and miss. Quite dumb if you ask me. It should be pretty standard everywhere. and no, the discount does not apply ontop as zefy said, you save more with the sale price

Sorry Link you should go return that set and just wait this this set goes on sale which is pretty much every month it seems

Mastercraft Maximum 259-piece Socket Set

http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows...cket%2BSet.jsp

I picked it up for $199 when on sale

Better in everyway. A very good starter set for cars and bikes. better handles, laser etched and none of the useless screwdriver bits that they count as pieces. Everything is nicely polished and lifetime warranty.

I agree.
The Maximum stuff is a lot stronger than the standard CT stuff. But Link's deal isn't that bad. Anything that breaks, could be replaced by Maximum, or Snap-On/Jet/etc. I bought the same set for my brother last year, and he's rebuilt two engines with it.

Teh value, is good.

Not really... they usually have stock. If not get a rain check on the item which means you get the item at the sale price whenever they have stock. You can also just go to Customer Service and ask when the item is going to be on sale again. That way you can pick it up 14days before the sale price and get a refund of the difference and not have to wait for the product if it's sold out.

Seriously never by any tools at CT without it being at least 50% off. Most of the time if you catch it at the right time is up to 65% off.

The maximum line is more than enough for a weekend mechanic.
