Stock height, RallyArmor flaps. Busted my bracket on a monster speed bump. I creeped like a grandma over that bump, too. It looks like the flap hit the ground and bent the bracket after i went over it.

My RA flaps scrape on my driveway every time I go in and out and they look brand new. That includes the massive speedbumps I have to deal with at work everyday. I think if I was lowered, I'd take em off though, no way they would last!

SaltSweatSugar, those Radio Flyer flaps are great!

Just to add, I did the same with my RA flaps already, thought I just threw away a decent amount of money, but was able to just unbolt and reinstall; bent the bracket a little too, but was easy enough to bend it back. All this is what really impressed me about RA, and made the extra cost worth it to me.

Got some flaps from Gorrilla Offroad. Very robust, they scrape all the time, but I'm lowered about 1.5"

Does anyone know if there are any replicas of the prodrive stone guards out there that are any good? I really need some way to stop the side of my car getting damaged by rocks and at the same time protect my wheels because the spokes stick out leaving them particularly vulnerable to rocks bouncing up from the tires .... it's going to look like my car was sand blasted down the sides if i don't stop it.

The only problem is that i really don't like the look of RA mudflaps or any other of that size so the small stone guards fit the bill perfectly but i can't held of a set genuine prodrive one's (apart from the insane priced sets)

I don't want to drill a bunch of holes or use self tapping screws down the whole fenderwell so prodrive like fitment would be nice.

I know it's a bit much but doesn't hurt asking ... in the meanwhile i'm keeping an eye out for a genuine set front & rear.

I nearly bought the genuine subaru flaps but just missed the ebay auction and would have gotten a dirt cheap prodrive set if only the seller would have shipped abroad ... they where sold for a measily 10£ in the UK (i'm in belgium) i would have gone to at least 25£ but to no avail.

I'd say my Rally Armor's work pretty well.

They used to kick up and cling off off of the exhaust pipes and undercarriage. They are more subdued now.
You realize that you did the install wrong right? The bracket is supposed to be inside the bottom plastic.

Iv'e tried to search but not much luck other than what ive tried already.
I have black flaps and after i wash them they get that "dried out" look and they turn a out with this faded white look to them.
Is there anything i could clean them with or it is time to replace them?
Iv'e tried that back to black and simple green things like that.
Any help would be great!

What material are they made of, what brand are they, and how long have they been on your car?
I know that doesn't help you, but people will want to know.

Instruction comes with the kit, simple and easy. First one took more time, than once you figured out, other wheels goes much faster. I have a 2013 wrx sedan

BTW, was the RallyArmor

My flaps (Classic RA rally, pre any urethane/colors) are basically uncleanable at this point.

I'd like to dismount them and somehow clean/resurface them. Maybe I could sand it down to be uniform again? I don't care so much about the smoothness, as long as the new surface I created was easier to clean. I wonder after sanding what I could coat them with to help that.

How adjustable are the RA urethane mudflaps for WRX hatches? I like them, but i feel like i'd rather have them be 1" shorter in the rear than they are. But then some peoples' pictures make it like they are right where i want them. Is the height on the rears adjustable at all during install?

Thanks.

Not adjustable.

Just cut new mounting holes 1" lower on the flap itself. Then when you go to install they will sit higher up.

That's what I did.

Never understood why people clean their mud flaps.

The rain 'cleans' mine, but they are MUD FLAPS. To me cleaning mud flaps would be as useful as cleaning tires, lol.
