Default 2003 wrx clutch recommendation?

Hey guys, my 2003 wrx has been slipping for a month or so and Iím finally tired of putting it off. I want to throw on a vf22 eventually, so something that will comfortably hold a little under 300 whp, so still organic. And not something crazy expensive. Also, should I get a lightweight flywheel or a stock?

Keep it stock with the oem exedy man 100% will still grab when you reach your power goals. If you get a stronger pressure plate or a heavier disk, it will be stronger and grab harder yes, but since it will slip less, it will be a lot harder on your trans. Our transmissions are weak to begin with and can be blown at stock power levels if shifted incorrectly. Leave the clutch as the weak point, since it's cheaper and easier to replace than the trans. The stock one will hold up just fine!
