I think they care more about noise. Switched exhausts twice and I'm on my third set up. They haven't pulled me over since and i really haven't had any problems. 3 axle backs, lol

Wow almost sounds like they've mellowed out a bit on the car scene?

I thought they only cared about emissions over there?

They definitely care about emissions, since I've only done axleback I avoid that mess for now until a pick up a second car. I just tell them it's all stock except suspension and wheels and they're usually nicer haha. I know a lot of people who have been reffed but so far I've been lucky. If I did get reffed I'd just throw stock wheels and tires on and have it signed off. I think the only thing they could get me for is stretched tires and you have to be doing something dumb for them to pull you over and cite you for that too

Just to switch it up from all the lowered Hawkeyes on here. My finally lifted 06 limited on King Springs with primitive racing skid plates. Just need smaller wheels and taller tires for camping but these and my winter wheels will be for rally cross

Why thank you! It has been a dream to own a lifted WRX that can be used as a daily and fun toy. Just need to put my other 2 skid plates on and then thinking of taking an afternoon drive to Mt. Hood and see how well she fares.

Oh nice, I really love the look of lifted WRXs and STIs. Just looks so utilitarian and aggressive. Better than "stancing" it and not being able to daily it...
Have a fun and safe drive!

We have a long list of things that I want to get for it. One of them being a CB radio, roof rack basket and some more lights. Our 08STi is getting the same treatment as well. Well, not the same but the lift will be the start of it.

haha I was actually browsing all the CB radio threads about a week ago haha
I've got no use for it here, but they're always fun to mess with. Sounds like you're gonna have a fun build ahead. Hopefully with a thread to follow?

No one will get mad, people are too worried about Zack stancing his to waste time with a lifted one.

I do have the start of a thread on DirtImpreza (http://www.dirtyimpreza.com/forums/s...T-SPRINGS!!!!*) and may end up bringing it over for anyone else wanting to view it. My first rally cross is at the end of the month, so I should have loads of pictures and videos to throw up and share

No stance hate from me, at least not much. I tend to keep those to myself.

I plan to have some fun with this as much as possible!

Videos needed! Seen a cool YouTube video of a 2.5i cammed out and rallying, seemed sweeet.

That will be a definite roger roger on that! Plus my wife just got me a second gopro so I can grab more footage. I hope to take a trip up to Mt. Hood this weekend and just do some slow light stuff and work my way up to the harder things. (As previously stated) I just need to get my other 2 skid plates on. Gotta protect the 4EAT tranny pan and rear diff! haha

Wheels got put on today! (along with a coolant change and a short shifter and I may have to bring it back Tuesday unless my coolant temp goes down tomorrow)

Work Emotion 11r, 18x8.5 +47, in flat black, and wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Positions 235/40/18
